Morpeth is a suburb of the city of Maitland in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia. It is on the southern banks of the Hunter River at the border between the City of Maitland.

Morpeth is located on the banks of the Hunter River 172 km north of Sydney, 35 km north-west of Newcastle and 14 km east of Maitland.
It is a very easy walk around the town and an opportunity to experience the rich heritage of this beautifully preserved river port.
